Shadowrun

So I love Shadowrun. Been playing it a while. Big games, little games, was a GM, and made a world. So, this site is kind of named after that world, but as I imagined more, it kinda went and morphed well beyond just Shadowrun. So, maybe it started here, but it went sideways fast. And it keeps drifting with every book I read and game I play, so … I guess hang on?

City of Heroes

Tons of my fiction uses a huge influence from City of Heroes. I’ll use tons of terms that are from the game, although maybe an artists interpretation of what is means. Kind of part of this also spreads out to the superhero genre in general, so … maybe DC and Marvel and such might make its way here. If something is superhero-ish, it will probably use some sort of City of Heroes terminology, or be a part of the world, or something like that. Most of my main character’s influence is specifically from this game. If you know the game, you will certainly be familiar with a lot of the look and feel, as well as some of the terminology.

Magic Worlds

Influences from other fantasy role playing games, such as DnD, Skyrim, whatever video games, or whatever TTRPG, or whatever novels I read recently with high magic fantasy.

High-Tech Gear

Lots of my stuff might also have Sci-Fi tech like stuff from Star Wars, Star Trek, Cyberpunk, Doctor Who, Warmth in the Void, Maybe some Predator vs Alien nonsense, whatever.

Grimdark

Dystopia, Dark and grim might show up. Warhammer has some good stuff I like to compare against, as does Fallout, and the like.

Diverse Characters

Is it diverse? I don’t know … I know my mind and sometimes it all ends up the same. I try to grab an idea and personify them, but … maybe add depth? How do you have depth when you are so shallow though …so … dunno.

Blog

Probably some comments on ideas and inspirations. If another author does something, they might take credit for it and add their name as credits. Dunno … this site is more for me to fuck around with and pretend existence matters. It doesn’t, but let me pretend.
